What is the point of real estate marketing? The point of real estate marketing is to get LEADS. The point of real estate marketing is to get leads that will, become clients, that will become closings, that will become money.
If you are not getting leads, then your real estate marketing dollars are in vain.
The nice thing about internet marketing is that you can almost always track the effectiveness of your marketing efforts. You can see that your pay per click campaign, or your SEO efforts are bringing you leads.
If you pay money to add a billboard on the side of the road, how effective is that marketing? Probably not very. Sure it may lead to some “brand recognition” but in all likelihood you aren’t going to get any actual, tangible business from billboards, newspaper ads, golf course signs, or any of the other traditional real estate marketing methods.
